With temperatures in the high 30′s you would wonder how long until spring comes around. Although it is only February, we are hoping spring comes sooner than later this year. The weather has been teasing us Cape Codders with some very nice springlike days sprinkled in here and there and it makes us want the warm weather to come even sooner. If you are thinking about spring too and are ready to book your stay at the Town Crier Motel, now is a great time to lock in your favorite room and rates before they are all taken. You can view our rates right online and you can even book your reservation right online too. We open for the season in March and we can’t wait to see you all for the 2011 season!
2011 marks 50 years since the Cape Cod National Seashore was established. Celebrating 50 years is a great way to thank the national Seashore for keeping our beaches and land in such great shape over the years. We all get to enjoy the beauty of Cape Cod and the fantastic beaches, and the National Seashore takes care of a large portion of them. Some of the most spectacular beaches on Cape Cod are taken care of by the National Seashore park. Right here in Eastham we have the Cape Cod National Seashore headquarters, located less than 1 mile from the Town Crier Motel. This is why Eastham is considered the gateway to the National Seashore.
Because this will the the 50 year anniversary of the Cape Cod National Seashore there are some great activities schedules for the 2011 year. Some of the events are: exhibits, film series, dedications, displays, book signings and so much more. You can view the full calendar of events online here.
