While vacationing on Cape Cod for your next trip you may want to visit a local theater and watch a play by locals. Plays are a very big feature that the Cape offers as a quality pastime. There are several theaters on Cape Cod including the W.H.A.T theater which is located just up the street in Wellfleet and the Academy Playhouse in Orleans. Located just up the street from the Town Crier is a bike rental and repair shop. You can rent bikes for your entire family or just get your bike repaired. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is located just behind our motel which makes going to a nice bike ride a breeze. The Little Capistrano has a great special that starts July 5th and runs through August 16th which is: After 4:00 pm Bike Rental Special;3 Hour Bike & Helmet Rental, bottle of water and a bike map. Special Adults $12.00 (kids $8.00). Take advantage of this great rate while you are on vacation and save some extra money to buy some ice cream or a souvenir.

Here in Eastham you will find endless activities to do as well as an endless supply of places to see and things to do. People come to visit Eastham because the beaches are so beautiful and the weather is so great all Summer long. There are so many things to do, you won’t even be able to do ALL of them while your here on vacation! We have the Cape Cod Rail Trail, mini golf, restaurants, driving range, batting cages, hiking, beaches, sand dunes, swimming, ponds, fishing, golfing and SO MUCH MORE! All right here in Eastham. Just a half a mile up the road from us here at the Town Crier you will find the Salt Pond Visitor Center. Here they have a great museum with exhibits. The Visitor Center is open year round and has great exhibits for kids to learn about Cape Cod. There are short films, a bookstore, theater and more. You will learn all about the local history and also have some fun with your kids. This is a great thing to do on a rainy day to get your kids out of the motel room and wonder around.
