If you are going to be vacationing in Eastham this summer you should go on a whale watch in Provincetown. Whale watching is a great activity for all families no matter the age. You are guaranteed to see whales and if you don’t you will get another ride for free. It only takes about 45 mins to get to the local whale watch launches and it is great fun. If you have not been on a whale watch before, now is the time to try one.

At the Eastham town hall green this weekend there will be local artists showcasing their artwork for you to look at and to purchase. There are artists on the green on some weekends in the summertime and they are always great to browse through on a nice day. Right next door to the town hall green is also the town library where you can take out books to read while you are on vacation.

The Little Capistrano Bike Shop located just up the street from the Town Crier Motel in Eastham is offering a special rate for bike rentals during the dates of July 5th- August 18th. If you rent a bike after 4:00 pm the bike shop is offering a 3 hour special. The 3 hour bike rental package includes:

Although it doesn’t seem to rain all that much here in Eastham in the summertime, there are occasional times when it will rain and you are going to want to know what to do. You are on vacation and you still want to enjoy your stay even if the weather is not cooperating right. One thing to do is to go out to a nice restaurant for lunch or dinner. There are some great restaurants right here in town that offer great food like pizza, pasta and more. Also, you could see a movie at the cinemas right up the street. They have new movies very week. You could also swim in our heated indoor pool.

The weather here in Eastham today is quite nice. It is supposed to get hot and sunny. It is a little foggy at the moment. Today would be a great beach day since it will be very nice outside and you can cool off in the ocean. Or you could go swimming in our heated indoor swimming pool and lay outside and get some sun. There is adventure mini golf right next door which would be great for kids. Eastham has great activities and you will never run out of things to do here.
