Eastham’s Windmill Weekend has come and gone for the 30th time and boy as it fun. There was a great parade and great crafts and shows and family gatherings. If you like to visit Eastham, September is a great time to visit. The weather is still nice, but there are not a whole lot of people around, so you can do great fun things in Eastham and not have to wait in line. Eastham’s Windmill Weekend always brings a lot of people to the part of the Cape and it is just really fun to attend.

There is a fun for all sand art contest at First Encounter beach on Windmill Weekend. Saturday September 8th from 1pm to 4:30 pm. There will be 3 groups of sand art makers, grouped by age. There will also be winners announced at 4:30pm. This is fun for any age, and what is better than building sand castles at the beach on Cape Cod and being able to possible win prizes too.

Eastham will be having it’s yearly Eastham Windmill Weekend at the windmill green across from the Eastham Town Hall on Sept. 7,8 and 9. There are great activities and crafts and arts to do and look at. There is even a road race. Also, and auction for a great recreation of the local Eastham Library. We have won at Windmill Weekend as well, we won the little building out in front of our motel. There is fun for all at Eastham’s Windmill Weekend.

At Nauset Light beach in Eastham on August 23rd there will be a Family campfire and sing along for the whole family. There is no cost for this family affair and it starts at 7:30 pm. It is only a few minutes to get to Nauset Light beach from the Town Crier Motel. If you have some kids and some spare time you should check out the campfire and sing along, it should be great fun for all.

Antique Tool Day in Eastham on this Sunday August 19th at the Swift-Daley House Museum. The Tool Show is really easy to get to from the Town Crier Motel in Eastham. You just come out of the Town Crier Motel and turn left and follow to the Eastham post office. The museum is right next door. This Show is from 11-3 in Eastham. Come and check out the antique tools.
