October is just around the corner and here at the Town Crier we are winding down from the crazy summer weather and events. Fall is such a great time to visit the Cape and Eastham and there are still great events going on here in Eastham. Bike riding is a great activity to do this time of year and the trails are less crowded but yet the weather is great and the views are fabulous. We are still open for a few more weeks, so come on down and have a nice relaxing stay at the Town Crier this fall.
The Eastham Chamber of Commerce is holding it’s annual golf tournament and dinner to benefit the Philanthropic/Scholarship Fund. If you love to play golf and would like to join the other golf players here in Eastham on September 20th for a great benefit the cost is only $125 per player and includes dinner. Dinner only is $35 per person and is being held at the Eastham Elks Lodge, right up the street from the Town Crier Motel. This is a great way to get involved with the town of Eastham and eat some great food and have some fun too.
The weather here in Eastham has been changing from summer to fall. The air is dry and brisk and the sun is still shining bright. This weather is great for bike riding, walking, browsing the local Eastham shops. Fall is a great time of year to visit eastham, the tree’s leaves are falling and the beaches are not crowded. Eastham does still have shops and restaurants open on the weekends, and some weekdays, so you can still have some great food while your here visiting Eastham.
