The leaves are falling and they are everywhere. It is so beautiful outside these days and even though the weather has turned to cold and chilly, the sun is still shining and the sky is bright blue. It is nice to go for walks in the fall weather and walk through all of the crisp leaves that are all over the ground. Eastham has great walking trails and bike trails to pass some time on the weekends. Eastham is slow nowadays and everyone is enjoying the slow beginning to the long winter ahead.
Today the weather was so nice, the sun was out and the temperature got up into the mid 70′s! A friend of our was out fishing all day and got BURNED it was so nice. Fall is still a great time to visit the Cape, even though it is getting colder, there are still some very nice hot days like today. Eastham is winding down though, the restaurants are closing and cleaning up and the people are slowly leaving to go back home. It’s quiet and calm and not too crowded this time of year.
Well, it is always a sad time when we have to shut down for the Fall and Winter time. All of our customers ate back home and we are getting ready to close up and watch the leaves falling. Summer is always a great time for everyone, there is a lot to do here in Eastham, and we welcome everyone back next year. We will be busy this winter working on the motel and getting it ready for the next summer season. Don’t forget that you can still book online for next year. We are winding down from this great summer season and trying to organize and get ready for the long winter ahead. It is so great when the summer comes to Eastham and we get to see all of the tourists and give a great place to stay. The weather this summer was great and there were so many great events. Now it is time to get ready for the cold weather and relax for the winter. If you want to grab the kids and come on down to the Cape and have a great vacation this fall, there is still time and there are still great activities and restaurants open. The weather is beautiful. Today it was at least 75 degrees, sunny and nice. All the great Eastham restaurants are open this weekend and will still be open through October. The fall weather here in Eastham is great for biking, hiking, walking and bird watching.
