It has been a crazy couple of weeks. There has been rain and rain and more rain and cold. Now he sun is out and it is a little warmer outside. We are still so busy getting the motel ready for this spring so we don’t get to enjoy this weather much, but it is still great that it is here. Eastham is livening up this week as it is school vacation. There are kids riding bikes, playing outside and families eating out more this week. Well, gotta get back to work, talk to you all soon.
Today has been such a nasty day here in Eastham. The rain has been crashing into the ground all day and the wind is very loud and fast. Not a good day to go outside. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for all the love birds out there on Valentine’s Day. The weather hasn’t been so good here in Eastham lately and I am hopeful that soon the sun will come out and it will be nice and warm again.
I have been watching the Weather channel and they say that some VERY VERY cold weather will be coming through this afternoon and possibly some snow flurries too. This just means another day stuck inside from the cold weather these days. Luckily we have a fireplace to keep us warm and cozy until the spring and summer roll around again. I think I will go put some hot cocoa on the stove and sit by the fire today.
Sorry it has been so long since our last post, we have been busy here in Eastham with the cold weather and getting the motel ready for the Summer of 2008. I cannot believe that it is actually February already, Valentines Day just around the corner as well as Spring. This winter weather is so cold, but we did get some snow a couple weeks ago which only stayed a few days and then the sun melted it away. Well, gotta get back to the motel, cook some dinner and keep warm.
