The leaves are changing and starting to fall to the ground. The sun has been shining bright lately and the temperatures are warmer than normal. Now is a great time to visit Cape Cod and enjoy the Fall colors and long walks on the beach. Join us for a relaxing vacation with your family or your friends. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is still a big hit with anyone looking for a scenic outside route where you can breathe in the Cape Cod air and also see the Fall foliage close up.
While the Fall weather is here, the Summer fun is still around! Most restaurants are still open, the beaches are spectacular, Nauset Lighthouse is still open for tours, the Cape Cod Rail Trail is ready and waiting and there are still plenty of Fall activities happening in and around town. The weather has been very nice lately, highs in the 60′s, sun shining bright.. still nice enough to take a dip in the pool, surf at the local beaches, bring you SUP boards and enjoy the local ponds. Enjoy the weather before it gets too cold to hang outside!
The first day of Fall was on September 22, 2013. The day started out with heavy rain, but by early afternoon, the sun was shining and it was beautiful outside. We saw some of our guests hop on bikes and go for a leisurely ride on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. The beaches are also a nice place to visit in the Fall, lots of seals just offshore and the water is still warm! Visit us this Fall for a peaceful and non stressful stay before the cold weather sets in for the Winter.
WOW! We only have 1 more week of Summer left! Be sure to visit us at the Town Crier Motel in Eastham to enjoy the warm weather, uncrowded beaches, seasonal restaurants, local shopping, perfect golf weather and more. Also, if you enjoy Fall, we will be open then as well. Fall is the perfect time of year to hike the many local trails and to watch all of the colors changing. Biking the Cape Cod Rail Trail is another really great Fall activity. Don’t forget, Nauset Light is giving tours all season long.
Boy have we been busy, and it just does not seem to be stopping anytime soon. The weather has been just beautiful! Perfect for enjoying all of the local beaches, ponds and of course our very own indoor pool with open roof.
